Private family looking to hire a Full-Time Housekeeper/Nanny ASAP in Bethesda, MD

The ideal candidate for this Housekeeper/Nanny position is a warm, calm, and mature individual with excellent communication skills. You should be proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to take the initiative in both housekeeping and childcare duties. The family values a candidate who is playful and engaging with the children while also being firm but kind in enforcing household rules and routines. Experience with deep cleaning and cooking simple meals is preferred. The ability to create a structured and nurturing environment for the children is essential. The family is looking for someone who is committed to staying with them for many years.
What Works Best for the Family:
This position involves working approximately 35-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from around 12 PM to 7 PM, with the option of some Saturday mornings if the candidate is available. The children, aged 3 and 5, attend school from 9 AM to 3 PM, and the typical day will include housekeeping tasks before picking them up, followed by engaging with them, preparing and having dinner ready around 5:30/6, and managing the bedtime routine around 7 pm. Duties include performing general cleaning, laundry, preparing simple meals, childcare, with deep cleaning preferred but not required. The family values someone who communicates well, is proactive, and has a willing spirit to work together to create a happy and organized household.
