Job Title: Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper
Location: Westport, Connecticut
Compensation:
- $30-$32 per hour depending on hours and skillset
- 2 weeks of vacation
- Federal holidays off and paid
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday OR Tuesday-Saturday (your choice)
- 7 AM – 7 PM with long breaks during the day
- Guaranteed 40-50 hours per week, depending on skills
Duration:
- Long-term commitment (10+ years)
About the Family:
- Adults: 2
- Children: 1 (3-month-old girl)
- Current Staff: Baby nurse (leaving mid-August)
Position Responsibilities:
Childcare:
- Primary care for a 3-month-old baby girl
- Experience with infants (bathing, feeding, appropriate activities, etc.)
Housekeeping:
- Light housekeeping (straightening up, mopping, vacuuming)
- Assistance with family laundry
- Simple cooking (cutting vegetables, preparing simple meals)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Domestic travel within the U.S.
- Driving preferred, but not required
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with infant care
- Willing to assist with additional housekeeping tasks- for more than 40 hours
- Outgoing, loving, warm, and flexible
- Willing to help with simple family meals
- Willing to travel with the family
Position Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Relevant experience with infants
- Minimum of 2 references
- Pass stringent background checks and drug testing
- Energetic, engaging, team player, and outgoing
