Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook
Location: Montclair, New Jersey
Compensation:
- $30 per hour
- Up to 25 hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Live-Out position
About the Family:
- Adults: 2
- Children: 3 (two 5-year-olds and one 2.5-year-old)
- Dogs: 1
- Current Staff: Au pair
Duration:
- Long-term commitment (10+ years preferred)
Position Responsibilities:
Housekeeping:
- Full housekeeping duties
- Family laundry and household linens
- Organizing various household areas
Cooking:
- Help with dinner preparation and plain cooking
- Family meal preparation
Errands:
- Occasional food shopping and errands
- Trips to dry cleaners and post office
Additional Responsibilities:
- Driving preferred but not required
- No travel required
Ideal Candidate:
- Dynamic, organized, reliable, and experienced
- Kind, calm, and tolerant of a little chaos
- Motivated to do a good job and willing to pitch in as needed
- Easy to communicate with and adaptable
Position Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Relevant experience in housekeeping and cooking
- Minimum of 2 references
- Pass stringent background checks and drug testing
- Energetic, self-starter with the ability to read the room and stay organized
