Position: Child-Friendly Housekeeper
Location: Bronxville, NY
Rate/Benefits: $40/hour; individual health insurance; 2 weeks PTO; annual bonus
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
A warm and organized family is seeking an experienced and child-friendly housekeeper to join their household. The family has a 3-year-old and is expecting a baby. They have a full time Nanny but the ideal candidate will be comfortable working around young children and happy to assist with childcare if/when needed. The home is 5,000 sq ft, requiring attention to detail and efficient cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Full deep cleaning of the 5,000 sq ft home, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining all rooms
- Handling all laundry tasks, including ironing and putting clothes away
- Keeping closets and clothing organized
- Ensuring the home is tidy and well-maintained at all times
- Experience with cleaning products and surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Must be comfortable working around small children and able to assist with basic childcare when necessary
- Running errands as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a housekeeper in a family with small children
- Valid driver’s license and own car for transportation
- A positive attitude and willingness to help out where needed
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to manage household tasks independently
