Full-Time Housekeeper in Palm Beach, FL – Join a Happy, Detail-Oriented Team! – IMMEDIATE HIRE!
We are seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper for a beautiful 22,000 sq. ft. home in Palm Beach, FL, working with two welcoming principals. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a thoughtful, supportive household led by an Estate Manager who values respect, kindness, and teamwork. The role is designed for someone who takes pride in high-quality service and thrives in a well-organized and detailed environment. Previous experience in a large, private home is a must!
Position Details:
- Location: Palm Beach, FL (with summer travel to Southampton from end of June to the end of August, if willing)
- Schedule: Two shifts are available – Morning (8 am to 4 pm) or Evening (11 am to 7 pm) – If there is a preference, that may be accommodated, otherwise it could be either/or or both.
- Flexibility: Occasional weekend shifts, rotating with two other housekeepers. Work every third weekend, or if preferred, work weekends and have Mondays and Tuesdays off. Extra hours are available if desired.
- Dog Care: Principals have an older (16 years) dog who is very sweet and doesn't require much care except to be fed and let out in the yard, as needed. Pick up after the dog in the yard.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Morning Shift (8 am to 4 pm) Examples:
- Let the dog out and feed him.
- Serve simple breakfasts to the principals (no cooking needed – i.e. yogurt, a bagel, etc.) and allow time for principals to finish before turning over their bedroom and bathroom.
- Handle laundry needs, and serve lunch as requested (usually for the Mr.).
- Complete all tasks on the morning checklist.
- Evening Shift (11 am to 7 pm) Examples:
- Clean and tidy both principals’ offices, replenish water, and remove trash, etc.
- Take care of daily floral arrangements, including fresh water maintenance.
- Handle dog care duties such as feeding and walking on the property.
- Complete all tasks on the evening checklist.
- Additional Duties:
- General housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and pressing.
- Assist with floral care (refreshing water, adding plant feed, and tracking flower replacement needs).
- Occasional support for dinner service if the principals have guests, though dinner service is rarely needed.
Weekly Responsibilities:
- Deep cleaning of various rooms and living areas, as needed
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in large, private homes is a plus but not required.
- Skills: Highly organized, strong attention to detail, service-oriented, and adaptable.
- Personality: Cooperative, positive, inquisitive, and eager to learn.
- Language: English proficiency required (intermediate level or higher).
- Pet-Friendly: Comfortable caring for the family dog, with tasks limited to feeding, walking on the property, and yard cleanup.

Position Responsibilities

- Laundry: Family Laundry
- Ironing: Yes – Bed linens, napkins, shirts, as needed.
- Errands: Occasional Errands Required – i.e. Publix, Dry Cleaner, Pharmacy – only if requested by principals
- Driving: Required
- Travel: Domestic Travel Required
Position Requirements
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (shifts are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Languages: Intermediate level English is required
- Experience: 3-5 Years of Experience in a large, private home
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Background check upon a contingent offer of hire

Position Compensation
- Salary: $35-$40/hour on payroll, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
- Living Accommodations: Live Out
- Vacation: 2 weeks
- Health Insurance: $500 stipend/month towards Health Insurance
- Additional Benefits: 5 days PTO (i.e. sick, personal)
