Private family looking hire a part-time housekeeper in Long Beach NY
This busy family of 4 is looking for a kind and hardworking housekeeper and cook to assist in their home. They are looking forward to bringing on someone who can take over the household duties so that they can enjoy more time with their 2 daughters.
The Ideal Candidate: Loves to clean and cook. A typical day would include unloading the dishwasher from the night before, cleaning up from breakfast/load the dishwasher with dirty dishes, complete a load of laundry for the family, grocery shop throughout the week as needed (2-3 times weekly), cook/prep dinner for that night, prep other snacks/meals for the girls (cutting vegetables, washing fruit, prepping freezer-friendly meals like meatballs, or individual smoothies), running errands as needed (Amazon returns, dry cleaning, etc.), organizing toys/picking up around the house, cleaning (including dusting, vacuuming, wiping down the bathrooms, etc.)
What Works Best for Family: They are looking for a part-time housekeeper to come Monday-Friday 9:30 AM -2:30 PM (They are somewhat flexible on the hours). They would love the candidate to be experienced and will not need much direction. They prefer someone who is kind and easy to be around. In regard to the cooking and meal preparation they are easy going and aren't picky. Most of the meals in their rotation are simple to prepare. They are looking for someone who enjoys deep cleaning as well as organizing and tidying up the house daily.
Requested Duration: 5+ Years. This family is looking for someone who wants to be with them long-term!
