Part-Time High-End Park Avenue Housekeeper Needed – April Start Date

A warm and welcoming family is seeking a professional and experienced Part-Time High-End Housekeeper to manage daily cleaning and household responsibilities with precision, care, and a flexible approach. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and takes pride in maintaining a well-organized and polished home.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a spotless, organized home.
- Understand and care for formal home materials, such as antiques, carpets, and specialty surfaces, using appropriate cleaning techniques and products.
- Manage household laundry, including washing, ironing, and caring for delicate items. Sheets and shirts are sent out for professional laundering.
- Communicate with dry cleaners, shoe repair services, and manage errands related to household needs.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, ensuring the home is always well-equipped.
- Assist in light food preparation, such as washing produce after grocery shopping.
- Polish silver, set the table, and supervise wait staff during Jewish holiday gatherings or dinners. Ensure meals are properly plated, dishes are warmed, and finishing touches are completed.
- Be comfortable around a small dog, occasionally brought over by the family’s daughter.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust hours as needed.
- The candidate may leave earlier if cleaning is completed ahead of schedule or come later when necessary.
- Must be available to extend hours occasionally, such as afternoons or evenings when the family is entertaining.

- Experienced in formal homes and knowledgeable about high-end cleaning techniques and proper product use.

- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing schedules with notice.
- Intelligent, resourceful, and exercises great common sense.
- Loves dogs and is comfortable in a pet-friendly environment.
- Skilled in light cooking (not required to cook regularly but able to assist principal when needed).

Position Requirements:
- Languages: English (Excellent communication in English is key)
- Experience: At least 05 Years of Experience working in a similar role in a private home
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
- Personality Traits: Kind-hearted, professional, reliable, mature, proactive, detailed, self-directed, positive, ability to work independently, engaging, and easygoing.
Position Compensation:
- Salary: $35-40+/hour, DOE, on payroll, Negotiable for the right candidate
