Discreet family in Roxbury, Connecticut looking hire a detailed oriented Live Out Housekeeper to work alongside other housekeepers. Someone with less experience, high work ethic and the ability to step in and manage others in the future would be considered.
The Housekeeper will assume responsibility for the maintenance and
appearance of the Principal’s residence – a 10K sq. ft. main residence and a
2500 sq. ft. two bedroom guest house- and in general provide services as
outlined in the Household Manual. Such duties shall include, without limitation:
Occasional supervision, direction, and control over general housekeeping
and cleaning duties. This position requires hands-on housekeeping day
to day.
House sitting when needed
Some cooking and grocery shopping as needed
Dog care
Dishwashing, laundry and ironing
Plant care
Branch and floral arrangements
Keeping track of inventory, running errands
Implement and manage special projects as needed
Serving at meals as needed and dinner parties
Prepare for guests and entertaining
From time to time and as needed Housekeeper may be asked to travel to
other residences to assist
This position primarily consists of a Monday-Friday schedule, with the
flexibility for extended hours, weekend days and holidays when needed.
Full benefits package after 60 days of employment
Salary based on experience.- $75,000.00-$85,000.00

Strong command of the English language, excellent communication skills
both written and verbal
Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and able to multi task
High proficiency in all aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning
and special surfaces
The Housekeeper will report to the Estate Manager
