Our client, a lovely active couple in Miami Beach, FL is looking for a seasoned House Manager for their 7,000 square foot residence.
Job Responsibilities:
Overseeing the house currently under construction. Responsibilities related to managing the existing household and ensuring the smooth progress of the construction project.
1. Daily Operations: Manage household schedules, staff, and tasks to ensure smooth operations.
2. Staff Supervision: Oversee domestic staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and managing payroll or payments.
3. Budgeting: Maintain a household budget, track expenses, and manage inventory of supplies.
4. Maintenance: Arrange regular maintenance and repairs for the property and ensure all appliances, utilities, and equipment are functioning properly.
5. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for routine and emergency tasks.
6. Event Planning: Plan and execute events or gatherings hosted at the property. 7. Security: Ensure proper security measures are in place for the household. 8. Personal Errands: Run errands for the household, such as grocery shopping or managing personal appointments for family members.
Construction Project Responsibilities
1. Liaison with Contractors: Act as the primary point of contact between the family and construction contractors, architects, and designers.
2. Timeline Oversight: Track project milestones and ensure the construction progresses on schedule.
3. Budget Monitoring: Monitor construction budgets and report any potential cost overruns.
4. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction.
5. Permits and Documentation: Ensure all necessary permits and paperwork are in place for the construction project.
6. Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to oversee the quality of work and ensure it aligns with the family’s expectations.
7. Safety Compliance: Monitor safety practices on the construction site to minimize risks and hazards.
8. Furniture and Design Coordination: Coordinate furniture delivery, interior design installations, and landscaping in sync with the construction timeline.
9. Utility Setup: Arrange for utilities like water, electricity, internet, and security systems to be operational upon completion.
10. Updates to Family: Provide regular updates to the family on the progress, issues, and upcoming tasks related to the construction project.
