Weekend Housekeeper Job – Westport, CT
An experienced and reliable Housekeeper is needed to assist an elderly woman in a fully staffed home on weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning the home, running errands, and walking the dog twice a day. This position requires someone who is comfortable working under the supervision of the Household Manager and can work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 9 AM – 9 PM, Monday 5 – 9PM
- Location: Westport, CT
- Compensation: $40/hr on payroll
Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and deep cleaning as needed.
- Maintain kitchen and bathroom cleanliness.
- Handle laundry and ironing as required.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning pick-up, and other household needs.
- Walk the dog twice daily and ensure its basic care.
- Follow instructions from the Household Manager and coordinate with other staff members as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in housekeeping for private homes.
- Comfortable working under supervision in a fully staffed household.
- Must love and be comfortable handling dogs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently when required.
- Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
