Our client, a renowned contemporary artist based in WEST NEW YORK, NJ (BERGEN COUNTY) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented DOG CARE/ HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to support the smooth operation of her home and the care of her three beloved small dogs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and deeply comfortable around animals.
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide attentive, hands-on care for three small Pekingese-mix dogs:
○ Multiple daily walks
○ Strict feeding schedule
○ Administering medications as needed
○ Scheduling and transporting to grooming and vet appointments
● Oversee daily household operations:
○ Manage a part-time housekeeper (on-site 2–3 days/week)
○ Coordinate occasional dog walkers
○ Keep household and grocery supplies stocked
○ Handle package deliveries and returns
○ Act as point of contact for home vendors (maintenance, repairs, etc.)
● Provide overnight coverage during the principal’s travel (approx. 45–60 nights per
year)
Compensation:
● Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000 DOE
● Mileage Reimbursement: Provided for work-related driving
● Benefits: 10 vacation days, 5 sick/personal days plus one of the following:
○ Overnight Stipend: $100–$150 per night, as needed

Ideal Candidate:
● Self-motivated, intuitive, and organized
● Experienced in household or private service roles
● Genuine love for dogs; prior pet care experience strongly preferred
● Excellent communicator and problem solver
● Flexible schedule and local to the West New York, NJ area
● Able and willing to stay overnight when needed
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and overnights
during travel periods.
