Rotational Nanny – 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off
Location: Miami, FL (School Year) & Newport, RI (Summers)
Start Date: Flexible for the right candidate
Schedule: 24/7 coverage during on-weeks (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom in Miami; separate guest house in Newport
Salary: $120,000–$150,000/year (DOE) (Further compensation package below.)
A friendly, down-to-earth family is seeking an experienced rotational nanny to join their team and care for their two delightful children—a 3-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy. The family currently has one Rota nanny and is looking for their second to create a consistent and supportive rotation.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate is warm, communicative, and deeply experienced in toddler care—someone who can guide the children through big feelings, support their development, and foster a positive, creative, and nurturing environment. This is a career nanny role for a professional who is confident with long hours, adaptable to a changing schedule, and genuinely enjoys working closely with parents as part of a collaborative team. Their next hire they would like to have until the kids are out of 8th grade (so many many years! Yay- Job security!) This role is a high demand role, however when the children are in school and if all other related duties are taken care of it is your time to use (gym, dr appointments, classes, errands, etc)
Responsibilities Include:

Providing full care during the 2-week rotation (24/7 coverage)

School drop-offs and pick-ups (schools are 2–5 minutes away)

Organizing and planning enriching activities: dance, arts & crafts, play outings

Managing daily routines: meals, naps, bath, bedtime

Supporting healthy eating and preparing nutritious meals for the children

Maintaining a clean and organized environment

Packing, unpacking, and organizing for family travel

Traveling domestically and internationally with the family as needed

Working in harmony with the other Rota nanny for smooth transitions
Children’s Schedule (Weekdays):

Wake-up: 6:50 AM

School drop-off: 8:00 AM

Son: school 8:00 AM–11:15 AM, lunch at 12:00 PM, nap 1:00–3:00 PM

Daughter: school 8:00 AM–2:30 PM

Dinner: 5:00 PM, Bath & Bedtime: 7:00 PM
Key Requirements:

Valid driver’s license
-
Strong communication skills; transparency and open dialogue are essential

Previous rotational nanny experience strongly preferred, or extensive live-in experience with long hours

Confident handling toddler dynamics with a calm, empathetic approach

Professional, discreet, and respectful of family time and privacy

Proactive in maintaining order and cleanliness—following the current organizational systems in place

Comfortable with frequent travel and living between two homes
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $120,000–$150,000/year (DOE)

Health Insurance Stipend: $400–$500/month

Travel Stipend: Provided for candidates traveling from out of state

Nanny Vehicle: Provided for all child-related transportation
