Job: Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant
Location: Fairfax, VA
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–8:30 PM (25 hours/week)
- Some flexibility appreciated for occasional additional help
- Looking for someone who can commit to at least a full year, with the potential to extend the contract as they need consistency for the kids.

A loving, warm-hearted mom in Fairfax is seeking a part-time Nanny/Family Assistant to provide consistent, thoughtful support to her and her two young children – an energetic 1.5-year-old son and a bright, spirited 3.5-year-old daughter. This position is ideal for someone who brings empathy, calm, and stability, and who genuinely enjoys being a gentle, reliable presence in a family's daily life.
This incredible mom lost her husband a year ago. Since then, she has gracefully navigated solo parenthood, but she is seeking a helping hand to keep her home running smoothly and allow her to focus on what matters most, spending meaningful time with her kids.
Primary Responsibilities:

Light tidying and household organization

Family laundry and folding

Grocery shopping and errands

Package management

Simple meal prep/snack prep for the children

Helping mom sort through and purge toys and outgrown clothes

Helping with the children’s bedtime routine

Providing an extra set of hands during transitions and busy moments

Offering flexible support, knowing when to step in and when to step back

Loving interaction and engagement with the children

Occasional school/daycare pickup as needed
