Palm City, Florida Family Seeking an House Manager | Executive Housekeeper
- Position: Full-Time Live-Out Job House Manager | Executive Housekeeper/
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
- Salary: $45–$50 per hour, depending on experience

- Relocation: No – local candidates only *The family will be moving to Stuart, FL (Expected move October 2026). The candidate will continue with the family in the new property
About the Family
A warm and welcoming private family located currently in Palm City, Florida is looking to hire a dedicated and professional House Manager | Executive Housekeeper to join their household beginning in Palm City, Fl, and continuing with the family when they move to their new home undergoing renovations, in Stuart, FL, expected move-in date October 2026. They summer in Maryland, so they will need the candidate to advance their summer home and close at end of season. They value discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit.
- Children: Two children, Girls ages 1 and 3.5
- Home Size: Currently in Palm City, FL, 3500 sq. ft- Moving to Stuart, FL 10,000 sq ft residence
- Pets: One Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
- Household Staff: Nanny, part-time team 3 x/week, deep cleaner 1 x/week.
Responsibilities
- Provide full support to meticulous Principals maintaining the inside and outside of the homes appearance.
- 3 Day House Transfer: Advancing (June) and closing (November) summer property in Gaithersburg MD
- Family Laundry, put laundry and dry cleaning away
- Service cars
- Shipping and returns
- Holiday prep and take down
- Keep list of all vendors/maintenance schedules
- Fresh orchids and succulents (1x/month or as needed)
- Charge ring camera batteries
- Pond maintenance
- Cold plunge maintenance – change filter
- Water system maintenance
- Oversee all home appointments, services, deliveries
- Errands, dry cleaning, as needed
Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate is experienced, energetic, confident, discreet, meticulous, seasoned, calm (at least on the surface), can intake information and process it and how to best tackle all tasks. Likes routines and implementing systems. Has experience working in a 10k square foot home or larger.
They should be have a positive attitude, and take pride in maintaining a structured, clean, and meticulous environment. A flexible mindset, strong communication skills, and a calm demeanor are essential. This family is seeking someone who is looking for long-term placement and will become a valued part of their household.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role in a private household working in a 10k square foot home or larger.
- Excellent references
- Legal to work in the United States
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable with pets
- Willing to travel as needed to Maryland, to advance their summer home and close at end of season
