Private family in the Upper East Side is in search of a Domestic Couple to work in their newly moved into town home. This position offers a unique opportunity for a couple who can work harmoniously together to take care of various household responsibilities, including cooking, cleaning, and providing general assistance as needed both inside and outside the house.
Responsibilities:
As a Domestic Couple, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of our household. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Cooking:
- Preparing daily meals and occasional special dishes.
- Meal planning, grocery shopping, and maintaining a well-organized kitchen.
- Catering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
2. Cleaning:
- Performing regular cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
- Keeping all rooms and living spaces tidy and presentable.
- Laundry, ironing, and garment care.
3. Handyman/Driver:
- Conducting basic maintenance tasks and repairs within the house.
- Coordinating with external service providers for more extensive repairs.
- Managing household supplies and inventory.
- Serving as a primary driver for family members as needed.
4. General Assistance:
- Assisting with organizing events or gatherings hosted at the house.
- Running errands, such as picking up dry cleaning, groceries, or other supplies.
- Assisting with any other ad-hoc tasks requested by the family.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Domestic Couple is highly preferred.
- Culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of meals.
- Strong cleaning and housekeeping skills.
- Basic handyman skills for household maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously as a couple and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.
