Live-in Domestic Couple

Live-in Domestic Couple is needed for an UHNW client on the UES of Manhattan.  The family mailing resides outside of the US so most of the time the home will be empty.  Please read the two job descriptions below of the Houseman and Housekeeper and apply if you are qualified and interested.

Compensation is open based on experience!

HOUSEMAN:
UHNW family on the UES is seeking a seasoned formal Houseman for their secondary residence.   The ideal candidate will have longevity working in formal homes and with other staff members.  Must be comfortable wearing a uniform and work with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.  The home is 28,000 square feet with 6 floors and an elevator. The family mainly resides in London and will not spend much time at this UES home so most of the time, the house will be empty.  

You must be a team player and help with housekeeping, light handyman work, drive Principal when needed, assist the House Manager with projects, assist in managing contractors in the home, serve at parties, work closely with the housekeeper to keep the home running smoothly. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Detailed daily housekeeping  (cleaning, dusting, sweeping and vacuuming)
• Clean windows and glass
• Polish Brass throughout the house including mailbox once a week
• Replace light bulbs
• Assist house manager with maintaining mechanical equipment
• Errand running including driving family to appointments
• Cover house manager when on vacation
• Serve meals and drinks 
• Take out garbage
• Handle preventative maintenance, basic repairs, cosmetic upkeep and simple appliance installation
