Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional who specializes in early-stage puppy training and thrives in a dynamic, on-the-go environment.

The ideal candidate will take the lead on establishing structure, training, and routines from the very beginning. As the puppy’s temperament is still developing, this role requires a thoughtful, intuitive, and highly proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide constant supervision and attentive care for the puppy throughout the day
  • Implement foundational training, including housebreaking, leash training, crate training, and basic commands
  • Assess and adapt to the puppy’s developing temperament and needs
  • Establish consistent routines to support healthy development and behavior
  • Accompany the client to their office and remain present with the puppy at all times
  • Travel with the client as needed, maintaining consistency in care and training
  • Ensure the puppy’s safety, well-being, and overall happiness

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience training puppies from a young age (required)
  • Strong understanding of canine behavior and positive reinforcement techniques
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to a demanding, ever-changing schedule
  • Positive, friendly, and patient disposition
  • Comfortable working long hours and/or collaborating with a second caregiver in a rotational schedule
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Professional, reliable, and discreet

Additional Notes

  • Open to one full-time candidate or two candidates to rotate shifts for coverage
  • This role requires a high level of commitment, consistency, and energy to properly train and support a young puppy from the start.
