About the Position: A retired couple in Villanova, PA, is seeking a dedicated and organized Personal Assistant to help manage their daily affairs, allowing them to fully enjoy their retirement. The ideal candidate will be local to the Philadelphia/Villanova area and willing to travel occasionally to their secondary home in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:

    • Sort, organize, and pay bills on time.
    • Reconcile accounts and track expenses.
    • File financial documents and maintain organized records.
  • Property Management:

    • Oversee property maintenance and repairs for both homes.
    • Coordinate with contractors and service providers.
    • Ensure all property-related activities are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Landscaping Oversight:

    • Supervise landscaping services and ensure both properties are well-maintained.
    • Schedule regular maintenance and handle any issues that arise.
  • Event Planning:

    • Plan and organize events, including social gatherings and family events.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations for the couple and their guests.
  • Administrative Support:

    • Manage mail and correspondence.
    • Perform light administrative duties as needed.
    • Provide general personal assistance to the couple to enhance their day-to-day living.

Qualifications:

  • Location:

    • Must be local to the Philadelphia/Villanova area.
    • Willingness to travel to Palm Beach Gardens, FL, as needed.
  • Experience:

    • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role.
    • Experience with financial management and property management is highly preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with financial software.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience ($35 to $50 per hour range)
